The risk for each is a combination of the contribution of each country to conserving carnivores (amount of land) and the human development needs in the country. The traffic light code shows countries at low risk (green), countries at medium risk (orange) and countries at high risk (red). The high risk countries are those that have many important species and have the highest human development needs.
You can zoom the map and click on a specific country to find out and the species that would need particular conservation. The first map shows the present condition. The second map shows future condition.
